Enjoy free parking and stroll through brightly-lit downtown Truckee while popping into local shops and restaurants, many of which have special promotions and discounts. Additionally, local students will be leading historical tours from 4:30 - 5:00 pm on December 2 and December 9 on the corner of Donner Pass Road and Bridge Street.

Holiday Ornament Workshop. Few things say “the holidays" like ornaments do. Ornaments are an indelible, nostalgic part of our holiday memories, and The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe makes it all the more so with their Holiday Ornament Workshop. Taking place on December 17 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. in The Living Room of the Ritz-Carlton, the Holiday Ornament Workshop allows guests to learn from a specialist to help them create their own special Tahoe-themed mulberry paper ornament. It’s the holiday gift that’ll keep on giving.
