Calling all snow lovers. It’s time to break out those dancing shoes, cold spoons, and ice cubes because Mother Nature delivered some of that beautiful white stuff to Lake Tahoe overnight. Bring it on!
All excitement about snow aside, it’s been another great week here at Northstar California. Our groomers have been hard at work to create the best corduroy possible— and, let me tell you— it has been a pleasure taking advantage of their creation. I took a particularly enjoyable lap on East Ridge (blue) mid-week as I watched the sun climb onto the horizon over Lake Tahoe. Absolutely beautiful.
Speaking of awesome views, did you know that you can download and share your EpicMix photos for free with the app? Next time you see one of the EpicMix photographers, have them snap some shots so you can keep your memories forever. You can typically find the EpicMix photographers atop Comstock Express and Tahoe Zephyr Express, where the views are unbeatable.
After you take some pictures, cruise over to the Backside or Lookout Mountain to escape the crowds and discover exciting terrain on Burnout (Black) and Lower Burnout (Black) or Schwarzstrasse (Blue). Our patrol team is working hard to open new trails every single day, so follow @Northstarmtn on Twitter for the most up-to-date information on lifts and trails.
With the holidays quickly approaching (10 days until Christmas, but who’s counting?) the Village at Northstar California has plenty of celebrations in store. See what's coming up below.
